The Global Peace Festival is held every 2 years bringing together activists, NGO’s and other organization or institutions that share a common vision for peace, and who wish to assist the United Nations in achieving their Millennium Development Goals. This festival is a platform from which they can all share their ideas and endeavours, and create the opportunity to celebrate their achievements, develop partnerships and launch new initiatives together.

—-What is Collegiate Ambassadors for Peace?
Collegiate Ambassadors for Peace is a global college-student-based network of leaders representing the religious, racial and ethnic diversity of the human family, as well as all disciplines of human endeavor. They stand on the common ground of shared principles and are committed to the path of promoting reconciliation, overcoming barriers, and building peace.

All Collegiate Ambassadors for Peace are students enrolled in colleges and universities at the time of appointment. All Collegiate Ambassadors for Peace are recognized as part of the Student Peacebuilding Corps. They recognize themselves as part of the Student Peacebuilding Corps. This means all students appointed as a Collegiate Ambassador for Peace will be part of a movement of students engaged in peacebuilding efforts.
